Summary of Position:  

The Regional Chairs, if utilized, are key Volunteer Leadership roles serving as functional and operational support to the Regional Vice President (RVP). These roles can ensure operational excellence, foster collaboration, and support the successful implementation of plans and initiatives within the region.  

Key Responsibilities:  

Collaboration and Communication  

• Support the RVP in encouraging collaboration and a culture of inclusion within and across districts and chapters.  

• Help facilitate relationships with the SBA and other community partners.  

• Support the dissemination of consistent messaging from HQ on strategy, processes, and policies.  

• Engage with leaders and volunteers through calls or in-person visits across the region.  

Operational Excellence 

• Support the RVP in driving operational excellence by optimizing processes and ensuring efficiency.  

• Contribute to identifying innovative solutions to improve operational efficiencies.  

The Regional Chairs support the RVP to ensure the successful operation and growth of the region, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment, and maintaining alignment with the organization's overall strategy and goals.  

Regional Chair Roles may be divided up by operational functions (based on team skills and region needs) such as:  

• Community Engagement - regional operations for building and maintaining relationships with external partners and stakeholders.  

• Client Engagement - regional operations enhancing the client experience and ensuring effective service delivery.  

• Volunteer Engagement - focuses on recruiting, developing, and retaining volunteers across the region.  

• Education & Workshops - leads Regional Workshop Committee 

• Fundraising 

• Performance Insights 

• Marketing
