Because Partner Workshops involve external attendance lists, the Event Manager is responsible for manually reconciling the registration list in Engage with the actual attendance provided by the partner.
Bulk uploading is not currently available and SCORE HQ is unable to provide support for updating workshop attendance. To update registration for your event, please follow the steps below.
1. Update Registrant Attendance

- Access the List: From your Engage Home Page, select the Update - Event Registrations list.
- Filter/Sort: Use the "Event" column header to group registrants by your specific workshop.
- Mass Edit (Manual Selection): 1. Check the boxes next to the names of those who attended based on your partner's list. 2. Click the Pencil Icon to edit the status. 3. Select Attended, check the box to "Update all selected records," and click Apply. 4. Repeat this process for No Shows to ensure the "Registered" status is cleared.
- Save: Click Save at the bottom of the page to commit the changes.
2. Finalizing the Event Status
The event status will not change to Completed until all registrants have been moved out of the "Registered" status.
- If any names remain as "Registered," the event status will automatically change to Needs Action.
- Once every registrant is marked as "Attended," "No Show," or "Canceled," the system will automatically update the Event Status to Completed.
Note: If the event is not marked "Completed" within 48 hours, the system will send reminder notifications to the Event Manager.
3. Automatic Post-Event Surveys
Once you manually update a registrant's status to Attended, Engage will trigger the Post-Event Survey process:
- Surveys are sent via email based on the timing selected during event creation (ranging from 15 minutes to 48 hours after the update).
- Workshop Presenters and Event Managers can view this feedback later under the Event Evaluations section on the event record.
4. Verification of Data
After processing, check the Registrant Information section on the event record. This area will automatically calculate:
- Total Registered vs. Total Attendees.
- Total Attendee Hours (vital for Chapter reporting).
- Total No-Show counts.
