Troubleshooting/FAQs

Electronic Signatures

Q: I have a contract that needs to be signed electronically. The vendor has sent the contract to me via an electronic signing program, how should I submit it?

A: Make sure to instruct the Vendor to make Sharlene Brown, SCORE VP of Finance ([email protected]) the SCORE official signer on the contract. Please also submit the above form, and make a comment in the "note's section" that contract has been submitted to the VP of Finance electronically.

Sponsorship Agreements

Q: I have a contract that involves a sponsorship or partnership agreement with another organization (not a purchase of goods or services). Does the SCORE VP of Finance still need to sign the contract.

A: Yes, please also submit sponsorship/partnership agreements though the above form. The competitive bid documentation requirement does not apply to these contracts.

Documentation for Contracts over $10K

Q: What do I need to submit if my contract will be over $10K?

A: If the contract for purchasing goods or services you are submitting is A) going to cost over $10,000 in a fiscal year, AND B) is going to be paid with federal award funds (National Allocation), then you must submit competitive quotes/bids/proposals from at least three (3) comparable vendors (including the vendor from which you solicited the contract). Acceptable quote/bid/proposal documentation includes, emails from vendors, full proposals, and screenshots of website pricing.
