The self classification section on the Application Form entitled “How would you like to assist SCORE and SCORE clients?” has been removed.

Reduces confusion regarding onboarding requirements as they are not standard no matter how volunteers intend to serve SCORE.

Applicants can now select "No Preference" when answering the question "How would you like us to contact you?"

Offers applicants an additional communication preference that better aligns with their needs.

Instructions on how to opt-in for text messages have been added under the 'How would you like us to contact you?' section, along with the option to choose text messaging as a preferred contact method.

Offers applicants an additional communication preference that better aligns with their needs.

Volunteer Profile Record

If an applicant selects a preferred contact method of texting, the opt-in will be added to and displayed on the volunteer's profile in a newly added field.

Updates the volunteer profile with key communication preferences, making it easy for users to reference when needed.

Record

Applicants are now required to check a box confirming their consent to receive communications from SCORE and acknowledging that they have read and agree to SCORE's Terms of Use and Statement of Understanding. This acknowledgement will be displayed in a newly added field on the volunteer's profile.

Provides the ability for applicants to opt in to communications and updates the volunteer profile with that important information.

STAGE: REVIEW APPLICATION

System Area            Enhancement Description                 Reason for the Change

Volunteer Application Review record

Header content on the Volunteer Application Review record has been updated to include additional resources added.

Easier access to related information and resources for roles reviewing the application (Interviewers and Coaches)

Volunteer Application Review record

You can now select 'Other' as a reason an application is being rejected. Once 'Other' is selected, a text box will display for the RVIC to enter why the application is being rejected.

Allow flexibility in reporting the reason an application was rejected. More accuracy in our data and reporting. Also helps us to be proactive in identifying trends or issues that need addressing.

Volunteer Application Case Record

The RVIC now has the ability to add notes and attachments to the Volunteer Application Case record. These notes are separate from the Coach Comments, which are also visible to the Provisional Volunteer

Enhanced communication between Regional team and volunteers involved in interviewing Prospective volunteers as well as those involved in onboarding applicants who become Provisional members.

Volunteer Application Case Record, Update Application workflow

Only the RVIC can update the volunteer application. Coaches can no longer initiate the Update Application process. However, they can add notes to the application that will be visible to the RVIC.

Streamlined management of Provisional applications with all updates falling under the RVIC's responsibilities and workflow. Aligns responsibilities to the new RVIC role. Prevents unintentional activation of Provisionals before they have successfully completed all onboarding requirements and Mentoring readiness.
