To maintain quality standards while supporting timely onboarding, a pre-recorded video co-mentoring session may count toward the required three co-mentoring sessions only under the following conditions:

✅ Eligibility Criteria

  • The individual has already completed two (2) live co-mentoring sessions with certified mentors.
  • The individual is within 14 days of reaching the deadline to complete their onboarding.
  • All reasonable efforts have been made to schedule a live third session (e.g., mentor unavailability, scheduling conflicts).

⚠️ Usage Limitations

  • The recorded session may count as only one (1) of the three required co-mentoring sessions.
  • The recorded session must be pre-approved by the designated Regional Volunteer Intake Coordinator.
  • The session must include a reflection or follow-up form to confirm understanding and engagement and any feedback on the video.

❌ When Not to Use

  • As a first or second co-mentoring session.
  • As a substitute for lack of engagement or availability by the mentee.
  • For individuals who still have ample time remaining in their onboarding window.
