  At our first webinar of the new year, we conducted a live demonstration of how to use ChatGPT to create a media list. We also reviewed resources for data and success stories that can be used to promote your chapter, as well as templates for National Mentoring Month and year-round outreach.

  We shared information about the role of Chapter Public Relations Officer and the resources available to support it. We also shared ideas to generate local media coverage and foster community partnerships. An update on SCORE's 60th Anniversary PR Campaign was presented, along with the results of the SCORE Alliance Partnership Survey.

  We shared information about SCORE's 60th Anniversary Pitch Competition and how to promote it at the local level. We also went over our recently updated press release templates and shared examples of chapters' successful press releases. Then we walked through each step of creating a media list from scratch.

  We answered questions that we received after the previous webinar, on topics such as developing client success stories, finding the right media contact, and customizing Ask SCORE columns. We also shared successes and best practices from several PR officers.

  In our first webinar of 2024, we reviewed the Public Relations Officer role and went over several frequently asked questions about chapter PR. We also walked through how to find various resources in the Support Center, including press release templates, public service announcements, and Ask SCORE columns. We shared examples of individual chapters who found success with their PR efforts, then wrapped up the call with Q&A.
