There are many ways for any volunteer to participate in SCORE, but there are four defined roles for a volunteer. 

• Mentor
• Subject Matter Expert
• Workshop Presenter
• Volunteer (non-client serving)

Volunteers may serve in multiple roles if they choose.  The role/s that a volunteer serves in must be recorded in their profile.  Further definitions can be found by going to the Onboarding link above.

Interns and internships are allowed at SCORE. Any intern is considered a volunteer first but must then be categorized into one of the above roles if they interact with clients.

SCORE Interns should abide by the same rules and Code of Ethics as SCORE Volunteers. Paid-internships are not allowed.

Any volunteer or intern under the age of 18, must have their parent or legal guardian complete and sign the SCORE Minor Consent Form
